Meet Dr. Van Vliet
"It has been a pleasure and an honor to positively impact the lives of my orthodontic patients for over 35 years in the Hudson Valley and Metropolitan New York areas. My goal for each patient is to create a beautiful smile and a healthier person in a warm and caring environment."
Education
Dr. Martin Van Vliet, a board-certified orthodontist, was born and raised in upstate New York. He attended the State University of New York at Albany, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.
He continued his education at Fairleigh Dickinson University of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1975.
After completing a two-year residency of specialty training in the field of Orthodontics, Dr. Van Vliet earned his Orthodontic Certificate from the State University of New York at Buffalo. In 1988, he was elected as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Outside the Office
When he's not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Van Vliet enjoys spending time with his wife of over 40 years, Marita, their two children, Maureen and Michael, and their three grandchildren.
Though Dr. Van Vliet enjoys traveling, golf, and fishing, his favorite leisure activity is just spending quality time with his family.

Meet Dr. Ganz
"Van Vliet Orthodontics has provided the highest quality of patient care for over 40 years, and it is an honor to continue this tradition. With strong family ties to the Hudson Valley, it is my passion to always put patients at the heart of the practice. I am excited to brighten our community with beautiful and healthy smiles for the generations to come."
Education
Dr. Ganz comes to us with an impressive background, having received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Michigan, his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut, and completing his residency in Orthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Ganz is a board-certified orthodontist with extensive clinical experience. His expertise in the latest technologies and techniques will be an invaluable asset as he continues to provide exceptional orthodontic treatment.
Outside the Office
Outside the office, Dr. Ganz loves to stay active. He can often be found on a local hike with his wife and two dogs, or out for a run. He is an avid University of Michigan football fan but also roots for his New York teams. Most importantly, he loves spending time with family and friends.
